2020 The Justice Read - $2,050 raised!

Women in Leadership raised $2,050 for The Justice Read. The funds bought a little free library, purchased books for the justice library and the community read and helped market the initiative. We were so happy to reach this goal and help these organizations make a positive impact in the community.

2019 Mustard Seed Shelter - $5,000 raised! 

In 2019, Women in Leadership sponsored a bedroom for Mustard Seed Shelter's new expansion. As an organization we raised $5,000 to sponsor the room. Mustard Seed Shelter has welcomed more than 1,000 women and children since 1995. They provide emergency shelter to more than 50 individuals per year and assisting over 90 each year with permanent housing. They are a homeless shelter located in the heart of Saginaw and serve both single women and women with children who are homeless for a variety of different reasons.
